Why Dark_Rinoa likes Rei:

I really do think that Rei is a little overrated...everything I see has Rei on it. I'm NOT saying I don't like Rei, because I really do! I like her a lot! I just think that there are a LOT of things that are Rei solo, with no one else...name it; there's probably a Rei-only version. Other than that, though, I really like Rei! Anyone who is like "we'll be cloning humans soon" I want to walk up to and 'Asuka slap'. I feel really bad for Rei and I think that she is a great character, but she shouldn't stand so extremely high above the rest, because it hurts all the other popular characters' popularity....but I really do like Rei! My fave character list is:Asuka,Yui/Hyuga,Misato,Kaworu/Rei   That's all I have to say! I like Rei, don't worry!!! I don't think anyone can truly absolutely hate her, OR Asuka for that matter... I wrote a 5 page essay on why I like Asuka, and I think that'll make a lot of people understand her better, but this is about Rei!

Why Jazlove likes Rei:

i like her because she resembles me in a lot of ways; i almost always do what people say without complaining but when i get sick of it i react in a violent way. we both have a hard time expressing our feelings and we seldom talk. but what i like most about her is that she is an angel who like kaworu wouldn't harm humanity because it is actually worth saving!

Why hedg77 likes Rei:

I don't like it when Rei turns everyone into goo at the end and it is funny when eva 1 bursts out of her eye. In the series she's cool but in the movies she's retarted.  that's all i got to say about that

Why rikku likes Rei:

i like rei ayanami because first of all, she's pretty. i dont care if she's just a clone. i like the way she dresses. ulike asuka she doesnt have to "expose" her body parts to seduce shinji. i mean it think im crazy enogh to kill anybody who says asuka is better and prettier than her. i was even able to collect 723 jpegs and mpegs of her.

Why Shinji Ikari vX likes Rei:

OF course! everyone knows Rei is the best character and looks the best!

Why ASUKASTRIKES likes Rei:

Okay this has certainly taken long enough…but here it is.  I like Rei…actually well let’s just say at first I hated her.  :: Looks around at many glaring faces ::  Okay well I don’t anymore.  When I saw Rei I thought she was boring and annoying and all this stuff, she just ticked me off, she was quiet and since Asuka was my fave, and she hated Rei, I decided that why not I hate Rei too?  And so began the saga of me not liking Rei.  And then in genesis 0:12 she sacrificed herself to save Tokyo-3 and Shinji, and I thought that was really great and noble of her, and so I liked her, and then I found out that Rei III mega-sucked and I hate her, so I really like Rei II now…and who CAN’T like someone who calls Ritsuko’s mother an old hag?!  I mean Rei I was awesome!  J  So I like Rei.  Not because she has blue hair or because other people do, but because she was a great character.

Ally is neutral toward Rei:

hey hey! I just did this one partly because I am neutral towards her and also there are no comments of neutralism. It's not true that she is either likable or hatable, I'm not on either side. But people who hate her, you have to understand that she's just like a new born baby that she hasn't learned to experience life much and she was created, not born, a motherless child which is the reason she hadn't manifested any feelings. She's the mystery to the series, "who is she?" or more likely, "what is she?" But Rei II does learn to love, she seemed to care about Gendou and Shinji when they saved her butt from the entry plug. She learned of morality and realized she owed them a debt - she sacrificed her life when fighting against the 17th angel, Yet what bothered me about her was that she always like Gendou's puppet on strings and followed him around like his puppy. Then when Rei III came along she seemed to have learned from Rei II somehow that she was a puppet and cut off her strings. I don't know what to say about her...do I like her or don't I? Baisically, I have nothing fore or against her.

Why Ritsutopia doesn't like Rei:

Ok here it goes, i'll try and make this short but if it isn't, sue me(EVERY one in America seems sue happy these days, tisk tisk tisk.)  Ok, So i think rei is just a normal gal, she just needs to loosen up! I mean i loosen up by smoking a cigarette or getting laid, so since none of us can picture her smoking a cigarette then well... SHE NEEDS TO GET LAID! I'm not saying by shinji or anything it's just well maybe Touji or Aida! Hey i'm not a sicko i'm just a normal teen leading a normal life!  I mean who here thinks Touji doesn't want sex? No one? Ok you see my point! Anyway i just wanted to say i don't really like rei and that i think she belonged to a cult in another life, if its possible for a clone to have a soul and to have actually had the term, "Another life."

Why Moi doesn’t like Rei:

I am not a big fan of Rei.  She is so cold, so distant.  Even Kaworu has displays emotion.  And she listens to everything someone tells her.  While that is okay at times, she never stands up for herself.  To me, she is a doll and brings nothing worthwhile to the series.
